I'm a firm believer that when a person has a pimple on their face they assume that pimple is as large as Mount Rainier. This is because not only can you feel the pimple growing without even touching it, when you do touch it with the greasy pad of your finger it's GINORMOUS. This causes you to do strange things when out in public like cover your face with your hand while talking to someone or turning your head sideways so that someone can't see the pimple. Or maybe you blurt out to that person (as so many friends -- and even I -- have done), "I have a ginormous pimple on my face. I hate it. It won't go away."
Chances are, your pimple is largely unnoticeable. I never notice pimples on people. They simply do not register. Now, an oozing face full of pimples is another story...
So how best to cover up a pimple? Concealer alone won't last so try layering concealer with powder. Dot a bit of concealer on the pimple, pat on some powder and then dab on concealer again. You can carry the concealer in your purse for touch-ups during the day and do your best to never, ever pick the pimple or the scab that develops as the pimple dries.
