And it also shows she hasn't learned the royals trick of sewing in a chain into the hems of skirts so just this thing can never happen to such a prominent new member of the royal family.
Kate's dress is by Jenny Packham. She's wearing those trusty Sledge2 pumps and carries a Natalie Clutch, both by LK Bennett. (Check out LK Bennett's gorgeous clutches here).
