I've gotten better at this over the years, but one of my biggest beauty pet peeves is a bad brow. I still get distracted talking to friends who have a bunch of stray hairs either under or above the natural shape of their arch, and in college I once made my British friend Abigail subject to my set of tweezers. Once I did my job, there was no going back; Abigail saw what a difference a cleaned-up brow made and over the years she made sure to comment on the bang-up job she was doing on herself.
There are a few rules to follow when grooming your own brows, but I strongly recommend you get a professional job first and then use the "blueprint" as your guide to keep brows groomed. Learn many more tips in my article, "How To Shape Your Eyebrows."
